Adult Individual Therapy

Self-care allows us to improve our well-being, enjoy everyday life, develop our skills, and become more assertive and confident. Self-care also allows us to take better care of others, build and maintain healthy relationships, and become a better version of ourselves. If you are in a dysphoric state, facing a new emotional stage, have a complicated personal or family situation, need support and guidance in some vital situation or want to set out to achieve personal goals, I will be happy to help you.

Individual therapy is useful for many types of situations that cause stress, anger, grief, or conflict. In a comfortable and private setting, we will explore many different important issues, including expression of thoughts and emotions, behaviour patterns, problem solving, conflict resolution, strengths, and weaknesses.

As every person is formed under a complex system of biological and environmental factors, I employ an integrative approach (using behavioural, cognitive-behavioural psychology techniques, mindfulness) to be able to cover the individual needs of patients. An integrative approach allows me to give the proper guidance and a high standard of care.

In our first meeting, we get to know each other, you can share your concerns and doubts.

As it is not always easy to make the first step towards therapy, I will do my best to make you feel confident and comfortable during the session. It is important to build a trustful relationship from the beginning.

The evaluation allows us to understand better the core of a concern, as well as its possible reasons, and develop a future strategy of therapy. The assessment includes interviews, tests, records, etc.
During this session, we are going to discuss the results of the previous evaluation to understand better the problem, to set up goals of a therapy, techniques that will be applied during treatment.
On this stage we start our collaboration aimed to improve your current situation, emotional state, and psychological well-being.
